BLEC Group is an IMAF supplier panel member, providing interim fire alarm surveys, design, installation and commissioning for eligible residential and student accommodation buildings in England.
The Interim Measures Alarm Fund (IMAF) helps cover the cost of installing temporary fire alarm systems to replace or reduce the need for waking watch measures in residential buildings across England.
BLEC Group is proud to be an approved contractor on the Interim Measures Alarm Fund (IMAF) panel, a government-backed initiative managed by Homes England that supports the installation of interim fire alarm systems in residential buildings where fire strategies require modification.
As an approved IMAF contractor, BLEC Group can assist landlords, housing providers, residential management companies, freeholders, and developers in accessing funding for compliant fire alarm installations that enhance resident safety while longer-term remediation works are planned or undertaken.

At BLEC Group, we specialise in designing, installing, commissioning and maintaining fire alarm systems for clients across the UK.
As a BAFE SP203-1 accredited contractor and NICEIC Approved Contractor, BLEC Group provides clients with confidence that all works are delivered to the highest industry standards.
The Interim Measures Alarm Fund was launched by the UK Government to support the installation of temporary fire alarm systems in residential buildings where a waking watch is in place or where changes to the building’s fire strategy require additional life safety measures.
The fund aims to reduce the financial burden on leaseholders and building owners while ensuring residents are protected through compliant and professionally installed fire alarm systems.
A key requirement of the fund is that all installations must be carried out by an approved contractor from the IMAF panel.
If your building currently operates a waking watch or requires interim fire safety measures due to remediation works, the IMAF scheme may provide access to government funding for the installation of a compliant fire alarm system.
BLEC Group can support you through the entire process, including:
