Fire Detection & Alarm Systems

BLEC Group UK Ltd is certified to ,BAFE SP203-1 — the recognised third-party certification scheme for fire detection and alarm systems. It independently verifies that a company has the competency, procedures, training and quality management systems required to deliver compliant fire alarm solutions throughout the entire system lifecycle.

BLEC Group UK Ltd is an NICEIC Approved Contractor. The scheme demonstrates our competence to undertake electrical installation work, inspection, testing and certification to the highest industry standards.

Our NICEIC accreditation provides assurance that all electrical works are independently assessed and regularly audited for technical competence, safety and compliance. IFC SDI 19 Certified

Smoke Ventilation & Smoke Control Systems

BLEC Group UK Ltd is proud to hold IFC SDI 19 Certification for smoke control systems. Developed by the Smoke Control Association (SCA) and IFC Certification, SDI 19 is the UK’s leading third-party certification scheme specifically for smoke control and smoke ventilation contractors.

The scheme verifies competence in fire strategy verification, system design, installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of smoke control systems. This accreditation demonstrates that our smoke ventilation engineers, procedures and management systems have been independently assessed against one of the highest standards available within the smoke control industry.

South West first: we believe BLEC Group is currently the only IFC SDI 19 certified smoke ventilation contractor operating from the South West peninsula — providing clients with access to independently certified expertise rarely available within the region.
